WPC driver board compatible with Williams/Bally WPC-89 & WPC-S pinball machines.
This board is a direct plug in replacement for the original OEM driver boards #A-12697-1, A-12697-3 & A-12697-4.
This driver board incorporates many improvements over the original driver board, but the layout of driver board is identical to the original, making fault finding and voltage measurements easy,
It has an updated 5 volt, 5 amp regulator & barely gets warm even under a full load. The 5 volt rail is set during testing but is adjustable if required.
The full size fuse holders take standard USA or European fuse sizes. The board is supplied with the most common fuse values already installed.
An additional 1N5401 diode prevents serious damage if certain connectors are accidently swapped.
All chips are socketed.
Each board is tested on a WMS test rig and run for a minimum of two hours during the QC process.
All parts are through-hole connected, with the component's name & value written alongside each corresponding part.
All transistor strings are exactly the same as the original board, making fault finding straightforward & easy. You can use the original WMS schematic for diagnostics.
